Guided Experiences

 

In addition to a place to stay, the owner, Bianca, (a fun-loving native of Great Britain who knows her way around Italy like the back of her hand) will help plan your day trips, meals, and transportation for as many days as you like. 

Example Itinerary:
Day 1: Take the train from Rome to Terni. Pick-up provided at train station. We'll take you by the grocery store to stock up and then show you around the villa (We call the house "La Sosta", "Rest") and local town.

Day 2: Tour the local hand-painted pottery shops in Deruta followed by a late lunch at a local Taverna. Transit provided. Spend the afternoon exploring the 12th-century town of Todi, followed by a delicious, authentic dinner with a sweeping view of the Apennine mountain range and Umbrian Valley.

Day 3: Wake up to a cup of hot tea and traditional English breakfast provided on the patio. Tour the famous St. Francis' Basilica in Assisi. Transit provided. 

Day 4: Explore the local countryside and 16th century ruins along the ecotourism route close to La Sosta. Guide provided.

Day 5: Tour the famous textile mill, top-quality textile shops, and wineries in the walled town of Montefalco. Lunch at local winery, sample local the local cuisine and wines. Dinner provided at home.
